Start by cutting and or eliminating almost every federal department or agency.  Its laughable how many there are.  https://www.usa.gov/agency-index   If countries want us to have a military base for our protection they cover 100% of the costs.  Stop giving military aide out period.   They want they pay/borrow for it.  We should be able to cut the military by 1/4-1/2. A true and extensive audit of the US military.   Hire a private firm that is paid based on waste they discover. Balanced budget amendment that kicks all members of congress out when certain borrowing/spending thresholds are met.   By kicking out I mean after term is up making them permanently ineligible to run for fed public office. Massive reduction is subsidies for ALL industries.   Massive crackdown on fraud in social programs. A true and extensive audit of the Federal Reserve.  Complete closure of the border and massive restriction on the immigration system.   If you have little to no skills then you can't come in.   This includes massive deportation of people that came illegally or under weakened asylum rules. Force drug companies to sell medications for one price worldwide.   Not $10 for Europe and $500 for the US.  Same for medical equipment companies.  This would be a good start.
