  1. Injectors were the culprit.
  2. I just got the report back and will be picking up new injectors Friday...should have things back together Friday or Sat at the latest depending on how motivated I am. Based on the inspection report I expect this to be the root cause.
  3. Mine never received the reflash, it runs well as is and I can mitigate the flaming after a hard pull. I heard horror stories or runability issues after the reflash back in the day. The problem with mine ended up being a bad injector. I sent them out be tested and one was bad the other was marginal even after cleaning.
  4. Bringing this back around as I finally got the motivation to tear into it. Reeds were fine looked like new. Someone mentioned throttle cable but that is all in spec. I have the injectors sent out to be tested and cleaned. Any other thoughts if those come back fine? Is @krom active on this board at all?
  5. I love it! Mine is the 7.5 wide with the taller ceiling. The box is 20 ft with a 5' v nose and front door. I can fit 4 137 sleds in it if I stagger them. They are more money then most depending on how you option them but once you start looking at build quality you will see why.
  6. Not sure what your budget is but I went with a ProLine. They are NH based family owned and made to order. Top notch customer service and exceptionally well built. I went with the 7.5 inline in the event I end up with a SXS it will still fit. 7. My CTEC 800 developed a bog/stutter off idle to about 5400 RPM. Starts and idles fine but in that range it runs like a fouled plug or plain falls on its face if you grab the throttle quick then hits 5400 RPM and runs like normal to max rpm. The sled just rolled past 7k miles. I swapped plugs and compression is dead even at 122. Has anyone experienced a similar issue? Next steps I think Ill try to bore scope reeds for chipped petals and then send out the injectors to be tested?

  10. Horsepower is not theoretical it directly correlates to torque. Mathematically horsepower is equal to torque multiplied by RPM divided by the constant 5252. Hp=TqxRPM/5252
  11. No surprise there Liberty was never very competitive with their sled rates. As a former employee even with my so called discount their rates were almost 4 times as much for the same coverage as All State.
  12. I keep my cordless impact in the trailer along with a spare and one of those eccentric quick change jacks, Makes short work of a change when necessary.
  13. How old are the tires? Bias ply are usually only good for 5-6 years.
