While I don't doubt that.. the people that own a bike like this are people like you, noobs to bikes that have no standards, extreme entry level people. What makes a bike is the components. Your suspension is not worth the weight it carries, it's only there to check off a box for entry level buyers when they're comparing and buying on the internet. Your shifters, derailleurs, crank, brakes, etc etc, component level is what makes a bike. Like I said your bike is fine for your use, a retired person to putter around on paths and get some fresh air and feel alive again. Congrats. It's an entry level, or sub entry level for most bike people. You would not do well on a proper single track MTB trail with it. You've never even rode a proper single track.
This is all fine BTW. Enjoy your bike for what it is. But it's not what it's not. We do have an idea what the bike is about, if you're into bikes it's easy to see what it's about.
