i rode a 21 vr1 matryx chassis and didn't care for it. i'm about 6 ft , and it felt cramped and the seat felt lower. one thing i liked about the axys was the seat being nice and high. so i bought a 2021 xcr 850 128 while i could. i rode that 5k and loved every minute. i did some changes in the rear and it was very comfortable to ride. i bought the 25 xcr 850 136 last march. did lots to the rear and it rides amazing. i do feel the lower seat , and the tendency to slide you forward. i rolled my riser up and set the bars to my like to get it to not hurt my shoulder. riding cramped up. axys i could squeeze the tank with my knees when going fast . can't do that now , but i can tell you this thing handles awesome. standing is great , i've adapted to the riding position and have come to like it. you know that bumped and bermed corner you can just lean way in and throttle through . feel like my weight has more effect on the machine. if i had to pick i would take the matryx. but if i had no sled and an axys was what i ended up with i would not be sad. it's a great chassis
