Claiming some are in the middle is just a distraction from the truth, no one "on the right" or "conservative" would support that. If someone does, they are not conservative, or on the right no mater what they think they are, or claim to be.
Just like a 40 year old balding man, who thinks they are a woman doesn't make them a woman.
Numbers may be hard for you, but here's a tip: The percentarce doesn't change based on the sample size.
Every single percent I posted is correct, no matter what size the sample is.
