6-7 years ago there was a lot more activity in the garage with more practice and the teams could do more with the car as far as the body and adjustments. You seen the drivers more and we use to do tours on raceway. You were busy most of the day pumping fuel and talking to team members.
Now with the next gen car teams are really limited in what they can do with them. You only have 15-20 minutes of practice so your not pumping hardy any fuel. 80% of the day is doing nothing. It's a long boring day now and yes there's the little Hitler factor yet.
Really don't miss it.
