Trying to get my project Jag ready for the weekend. It had a little track rubbing noises from the tunnel. Found the 92 tunnel wear strips are thicker than 93+ by maybe 3/4" and I have dropped my tunnel to 93+ height, and a little bigger lug track too. I tried grinding some tunnel strips down, but still noisy. I'm not even sure if the noise is from the tunnel strips but it does look like there was contact. So I dropped skid and removed tank and replaced the strips with the thinner ones. And then replaced the fuel tank with one I had, the current one had a cracked filler neck and was leaking. Some clutch parts coming this week hopefully tomorrow and I'd like to do a little testing tuning the next couple nights before riding this weekend. I hope the track rubbing noise is gone, doesn't make noise on the stand but I don't think it did before when on the stand.
