Yes I do along with other community services.
Little story about Feeding America referencing your copy and paste.
My old employee use to have a food drive and a competition between departs who could donate the most by weight. The last year it was done 2 semi trailer loads were collected and distributed locally and a couple small town in the surrounded areas. Then they went with Feeding America. They would not take actually food donations only monetary donates. When you signed up they wanted phone numbers and emails along with addresses. After that each year everybody that signed up got bombarded with phone calls, emails and letters asking for donations. More that half including me would not donate the following year. The local food pantries were hurting because of the lack of our donations.
If you want to donate go to the store buy some none perishable food its and take it to your local food pantry. Our snowmobile club has a food drive each year at our Christmas party.
Just an FYI the salary for the CEO of Feeding America is just under 1 million dollars.
In 2024, Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, the CEO of Feeding America, earned a total compensation package of $959,665. This includes her base salary of $911,130 and other benefits, according to Give Freely.
