I would disagree. You can race a dirt bike in ama district series every weekend in multiple disciplines with 2 annual memberships that run about 90$ total and race entries are typically about $40. Hell if you do national enduros you only need an AMA card which is 40ish a year plus the race entry fee.
Car racing, easier. Mountain bike racing, easier. Even racing sleds at ERX is considerably easier. Usxc/cor has been the most difficult to get into for me. Maybe it's their way of keeping retards like me out or people that aren't all in, which I'm fine with.
