Welp… looks like both Cat and Doo need to change the rules or also build racer only available XC race sleds. I can see Doo looking at the entry numbers for this series and not seeing it being worth the effort. Cat is most impacted by the Polaris domination. Kinda hard to market their racing heritage when they get their asses kicked over and over and over again at every XC race. The Catalyst is what now, 3 model years old and it’s done jack shit for results. If I was an investor in resurrecting Cat, I’d be looking to bail out as soon as possible. Actions speak louder than words and Cat’s recent marketing isn’t backed up by commitment or race results. They should go back to racing the Procross as it was actually competitive.
