That piece has been on all the sleds I have had since 2010 from arctic cat. I never had one fail. I have cracked rails before but I have never punted a shock through a track before. I am actually more pissed about the water pump going out as I had to dismantle most of the sled
Even then this thing is made so cheap. The belt drive has a bad drive shaft and bearing in it, the upper jack shaft bearing was locked up, water pump went out, clutches went out, a arms have a lot of slop in them, all the skid bearings were bad and all but 2 wheels were bad, fuel gauge went out. I see the aftermarket has better bushings now for clutches and an arms, belt drive shaft savers and other components to make it live. Had I not broke the skid and took out the track I would have had a major drive line failure late last season or sometime this season. Hopefully cat getโs the quality control together on these things as they seem to be hit or miss. You either get a good one or one that just sucks. It is a fun sled to ride when it is running and they did make it easy to work on.
