You see it every time a dumbocrap is on talking about healthcare for immigrants. They constantly use the word "undocumented" and they use it for a reason. Mark Kelly was recently interviewed by Peter Doocy.
โSo, the Democratic position, your official position here, is that illegal immigrants should not have any access to
taxpayer-funded health insurance. Does that include federal and state?โ Doocy asked.
โWell, the federal law is that undocumented individuals do not have access to medicare, medicaid, food stamps, even the affordable care act. Thatโs the law.
Maybe undocumented (those who snuck across the border) cannot get some federal welfare but what about the documented ones. The ones that crossed at a official border crossing and claimed asylum or refugee status. You guessed it they are fully exempt from the 5 year waiting period.
So exactly how many of the 10-12 million that came thru under Biden were given a welfare qualified status? How many that came before were showing up and NOW claiming refugee or asylum status? How many had previous administrations given LPR thru DACA and what not.

Overview of Immigrant Eligibility for Federal Programs -...
This article focuses on eligibility and other rules governing immigrantsโ access to federal public benefits programs. The โqualifiedโ immigrant category includes:
lawful permanent residents, or LPRs (people with green cards)
refugees, people granted asylum or withholding of deportation/removal, and conditional entrants
people granted parole by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for a period of at least one year
Cuban and Haitian entrants
certain abused immigrants, their children, and/or their parents
certain survivors of trafficking
individuals residing in the U.S. pursuant to a Compact of Free Association (COFA)
Now lets talk about Medicaid and the shared cost between Federal and State. We know some states are using what they claim is their own funding for immigrants. When there is a matching component you are still taking federal funds away from American's using state funds for immigrants. The federal law should state the matching component must go to citizens. If the state wants to then put in more above the match to immigrants than they can.
