Post a link to the speech. Instead of just cherry picking parts that make it sound like any tariffs are bad. In the full speech Reagan actually explains how and why tariffs can be used in certain situations to make sure free trade is achieved. I don't believe you understand Reagan's point or Trump's reasoning for enacting these tariffs. You should start to understand once you realize it is not on certain products but it is being imposed at a country by country level. It is to achieve free trade, just like Reagan was explaining.
