For the record my Escalade is 6 years older than yours and still looks better and less of being called 'junk' than yours with a goddamn hole cut under the floor. You even said yourself you wash it once a year.
Mine has brand new parts galore, stainless fuel lines, stainless brake lines, suspension, built heads, new exhaust manifolds, bigger alternator, slammin stereo, etc etc. Still gets compliments to this day. Even more now that I got Classic plates because people dont realize its that old.
My Duramax is even nicer and has gotten whatever it needed with an open check book as well. At least once a month someone asks me if they can buy it. High maintenance nah, its called preventative maintenance. I take care of my stuff, you dont.
