Thanks for the reasonable response .. I really don't think there is that much fuel in there. The gauge was always a bit off And I did siphon what I could get out a couple years ago and had added some fresh fuel then., So it's not entirely 8-year-old fuel.... I plan on just throwing a few gallons in there of premium. It seems to be running fine, But I will be running the boondocker boost controller at a low setting, In case of detonation.
Yeah the Z1 can be a handful with the weight on new unpacked snow. I will likely be spinning the track a lot starting at stop signs.. especially with no studs. Kind of wish I kept my f7 instead. But I do plan on running on some major highways if they aren't plowed right away Just to stretch its wings. This thing has been sitting for way too long. I really don't even know why I kept it after I sold my camp. I thought I would be trailering to my BIL place but that's never happened . I was just too spoiled having my own place to ride from and most likely won't be riding anymore .
