I don't consider Trump to be your standard politician by any stretch.
I've always liked and been impressed by Trump long before he ran for president....Used to go out on my friends boat and cruise around Manhattan..... The boat was kick ass by the way, I think it had twin 454 motors... It was a real long time ago But I can still hear the sound in my head 😆 .... And I always remember seeing Trump's Yacht parked at the pier and he had a Gold accented helicopter on board, of course with a big T or Trump written on it. .. I'm like "wow that's the high life right there"... I don't know, I was young and it just made a lasting impression on me. I also enjoyed eating at the Trump tower.
And then when he renovated that Wolman skating rink that was a good deal for the city. I think overall he's gotten a real bad rap..... I've delivered to his golf course in Bedminster, I've never met him personally .....but other drivers have and they say he's a real nice down to earth guy in person.. pretty much the guy that you see in videos on the campaign trail visiting small businesses and talking with the people ...that's just Trump. I have no problems making small donations or buying a few momentos to keep as a collection.. Pretty much just a hobby for me. I also bought one of Ukraine's stamps where the guy was giving the finger. I like that kind of crap. ... Oddities and weird stuff. I don't ever expect to make any money on this stuff but the watch should be pretty nice and also a conversation piece among my friends.
Still pissed I missed out on those gold sneakers though...... Now That was the moneymaker.
