They're all self serving and not there to serve the people... That is the problem.
They're all either trying to be a celebrity, get rich, or get power. Or a combination of all 3.
It sounds so fantasy and idealistic to"get money out of politics" but it's really not at all. It'd be very easy with a couple of new laws. Make it so they can not take ANY income besides their government salary and you'd have to make something for when they're done so they can't go be a "consultant" for pharma, defense, blackrock, Israel etc etc. This would end the huge lobby industry. Also, term limits. If you make it so the only people going are the ones who truly want to make things better, you'd see change immediately and it's not impossible at all. And as the boomers exit there's a new wave coming in that knows the scam. It's plain as fucking day it's just the boomers are too stubborn where they won't admit it they've played their whole life so they're just riding it out in denial. Things will change, I think there will be some kind of political revolution, there has to be. You're seeing some alliances between people like Ro Khanna and Tucker/MTG. Traditional liberal media like young Turks and jimmy Dore often are championing anti establishment people on the right.
America 1st vs the rotten corrupt establishment (any "side") is the real fight. Those are the real sides. Everyone needs to put aside their differences about abortion and gays and tax rates etc and work together for the big fight which is taking back our government. After that is done then we can all bicker about tax brackets. But if you think the likes of people like Ted Cruz or Chuck Schumer gives a single fuck about you or this country you are fucking retarded and need to wake the fuck up.
