The sad reality is that the Republican Party in Washington sucks too, but it is fractionally as bad as the Democrats are. Sad reality, yes, it pisses me off that they can’t get behind cutting the spending more. But that costs them votes. Also a sad reality that they haven’t passed real campaign finance reform or term limits. They’re not even talking about it, and that’s on purpose. I’m not sure what it will take to change that, but I do know that I don’t want Democrats in any majority or position of real power anytime soon. I think some of these guys who spent all day every day shitting on Trump forget how laws are passed in that town. He has the bully pulpit, but he is not a king.
