I'm an advocate for the Israeli style of mandatory service here. want free college? sure thing, here's your boots a rifle and we'll see you off to school when you're 21 years old. for those incapable of service or who have bone spurs (cough), we have other exciting offers in government like working at the airport for TSA, working at the gate of a national park, raking up pine needles in forests, cleaning up trash along federally funded highways and a variety of unexciting but character building tasks.
