And the Somalis being the professional fraudsters they are, are at the top of the scam lists in MN. Had they just continued their increase at a reasonable level, no one would be digging into it yet - at least not in MNโฆ hereโs a snippet from an article on another different fraud being dug into:
Rep. Jeff Backer, co-chair of the House Health Finance and Policy Committee, said in a statement Friday, โI am concerned that the moratorium does not adequately address the ongoing issues of fraud, particularly with individuals and organizations within the system that are engaging in deceptive practices and stealing money from Minnesota taxpayers. While I appreciate the Department of Human Services (DHS) finally taking steps to combat fraud, they have a poor track record in effectively handling these situations. I am concerned about legitimate organizations that are trying to obtain licenses to provide assistance. These honest entities may face penalties because the Walz administration is not fulfilling its responsibilities. Unfortunately, many individuals within the Walz administration seem to be acting like robots, failing to guarantee that taxpayer dollars are used as intended and allowing fraudulent activities to happen right under their noses. It is shameful that individuals have defrauded our government at the expense of vulnerable populations. These individuals are a disgrace to our society.โ
