One of the few things I will agree with Deep is about the Escalade.
Have had quite a few issues with this vehicle. From needing a brand new engine and trans when I first bought used from dealer . I did buy extended warranty which helped some but still paid a lot out of pocket
To "normal" wear and tear and replacing front hubs at least 3 times, brakes and rotors twice. Fuel pump and fuel controller once and twice respectively... And evap controller solenoid on top of spare tire almost annually.
Seat heater fixed once but hasn't worked in about 10 years 😆.... pretty sure it's the connection under seat. Maybe I will fix this fall since I have all the time in the world now.
And I think the tranny may be on its way out again after 105k miles..... shifting hard sometimes and filter and oil change didn't help.
Still much more reliable than that M I had and quite a nice ride for longer trips, so I will most likely put a little more money into it if needed but it's days are getting numbered.
