Take it when you can. In north MN we've had good snow all year with snow pack going up and down but been good riding conditions all year, trails groomed in December which is rare for us with our swamps, it's usually not enough snow or too much snow too early which insulates the swamps. My buddy in elk river area hasn't had snow on the ground on a long time. On Friday I was cutting trees at my house on bare ground but Saturday could still snowmobile in Northern MN and today at my house I have to clear snow most of the day and prep snowmobile for trip next weekend and hope to ride after work a few nights this week with the help of daylight savings. One last hoorah of snowmobiling. In about 1.5 weeks I'll be ready to shift to spring.
