Soybean prices jumped in speculation when President Donald Trump visited Asia and secured a trade agreement, and farmers received a $12 billion aid package from the federal government. But the report is clarifying that neither one of these has helped farmers.
“It hasn’t come yet, but a lot of that value that they were given, and that bridge payment was literally wiped away by the WASDE report on Monday,” said Roberts.
