We got 8 inches locally, maybe more. Had some flooding but nothing extreme. A lot of the flooding is caused by debris blocking storm drains. Once cleared it usually recedes. My buddy is one of the town guys that goes in and clears them. Used to just reach in and grab it with gloves on. Now they don’t do that, afraid of a handful of needles . We have always had heavy summer rains here. Just the way the lakes to our west feed moisture across the mountains. And some that can grab moisture from the ocean
