Like I said, that early Sunday morning these "military experts" here (and there) went by the recruiting office, found it closed so, that was that!
It's clear what Hegseth demands and regardless of somebody's acclaimed past, awards and impressive commands, they can change and they tend to when they get older and start losing their edge. "Wokeness" has no place in a fighting force. None. The "feels" of those unable to meet standards or comply to a single and solitary team mission have no place. Individuals need not apply. This isn't a spiritual and sadness counseling military for any and all lost souls looking for their proper gender.
I don't know the exact reasons for his retirement but I'm sure it was multi-faceted....and ultimately, it was his choice. Hegseth is doing a great job realigning a mess Biden left (and implemented by Obama) and I'll continue to support him.
"Woke" and any amount of DEI is stupid. And both certainly have ZERO place in a fighting force. Unless your goal is to destroy the ranks and moral of capable soldiers and replace them with activists who vote accordingly. Yeeeah, that's EXACTLY whats been going on.
