I don’t really want to go down the slippery slope of policy differences, rather my commentary is more focused on piss poor leadership, from both parties. Divisiveness, constant lying, attacking those who disagree, labeling entire parties as evil or lunatics, my way or the highway, extreme corruption, etc. These are all the exact opposite traits you’d look for in a leader, and you’d be shit canned immediately if you tried this approach in corporate America, yet we settle for this in the most highly regarded position in our country.
You might have the best policy idea in American history, but if your approach is ram it down everything’s throat rather than building coalitions through compromise, we’ll go nowhere as a nation.
