knowing we're both rather handy... can you imagine the quality of those cookie cutters?
the neighborhood I grew up in had about 40 homes in it until I was in my early twenties. two big developers came in, bought up all the woods and farmland and built 300+ homes. I walked a few of them during construction and holy cheap under built minimal spec shit... but a little drywall, trim and siding can hide a lot of sin. my dad had a pocket square with a level on it and there was hardly anything plumb or square. I've heard plenty of stories now all these years later about the issues many of the folks that bought them have gone through. oddly, neither of those companies are in business anymore.
