and their parents, the greatest generation (aka gray or silver panthers) barely paid into the social safety nets but demanded their benefits, fought taxes tooth and nail... and saved rather than spent. they also had things called pensions. they didn't bankrupt future generations for their own benefit though.

how about health care costs that are ten fold what it cost the GG and Boomers? homes or housing that's gone up 226.6% since 2000 ?
