Markets will lose 100 million barrels of oil weekly if disruption continues: Aramco CEO
If the current disruptions continue at this rate, the market will lose around 100 million barrels of oil every week the Strait remains closed, says Saudi Aramco CEO Amin Nasser.
He added that if the disruption continues for a few more weeks, normalisation will not happen until next year.
There used to be about 70 vessels a day moving through the Strait, said Nasser, adding that it was down to two to five now.
