It's my old club. My buddy was up a few weeks ago and said that the guy running it doesn't know what he is doing. It only grooms an old railbed with the rails and ties still in place over most of it. The guy running it called my buddy when he had the machine and drag down over the side. Skidder to the rescue, lol. My buddy said that he could see where the guy had lost the drag down over the side in several places and was able to recover the drag. The operator tries to do everything with the blade and isn't running enough snow through the drag to keep it up on the railbed. The heavier the drag the more it wants to pull straight behind you. We found that out years ago through the school of hard knocks. Oh the stories could tell, lol
I told my friend and the current club president that they should trade it for a used rubber tracked Tucker that is more operator friendly for their current crew. The club already has a rubber tracked Tucker 1000. There are few different guys willing and able to run the Tucker.
