We had low US tariffs coming into the US and other countries had high tarriffs for the US to import product into other countries making the US not competitive. US companies outsourced production to other countries taking advantage of low labor rates and low tariffs coming into the US.
That's the corporate greet thing that you've had your menstrual cycle all bent out of shape with before.
