I sat down with Lennar in Lakeville, MN last summer after my mom passed to get an offer on her 10 acres - they are sheisters!! They’ll give you an offer and you have to follow up on the fine print with all the conditions which are MANY. The main one is approval of the development plan being approved by the city. YOU as the seller have to eat anything not approved… The 10 acres across the road got a $1.1M offer, and when they closed it was only $750k because the city restricted how many home they could build on it. I found some local boys, total cash deal, closed in 45 days, and we could leave anything we didn’t want… a smokin’ deal IMO. It’s no wonder their (Lennar) stocks are rising!
