Would any of that cause it to dump fuel? Not sure what you mean by ports and plugs. There was some kind of weird electrical wires going to each carb assuming for throttle safety and fuel hose going to each bowl which i thought was different. And I saw a black rubber cap or plug on top of each carb but they looked factory to me. It'd be a lot easier if I could get the damn air box out but I would need to remove the damn fairing trim stuff for the windshield or whatever and it seems like such a cluster to remove that just to then get at the air box. Why do they make these Yamahas so damn hard to work on. It has strong spark but plug also gets wet immediately. I tried to hook up an external feed line to that carb and check the float needle but my fuel hose was slightly too big and just leaked out at the fitting so I have to try that again without another hose it was after 5am at this point and I was annoyed with the dumb thing I just want to get it running so I can rip it for 20 minutes and then put it for sale but I might just have to sell it non running and bend over.
I think it's either overflowing from the float needle or has weak compression on that hole. But maybe there's more to these carbs that I don't know.
