Mao & Hitler promised to dismantle the corrupt entrenched establishment.
Stalin coined the term "enemy of the people" to criticize traitors whether people or media
Hitler described people as pests/vermin as poisoning the real population
Hitler & Stalin positioned themselves as infallible sole saviors
Stalin replaced career politicians with unqualified loyalists
Stalin utilized the legal system to go after his political rivals
Hitler & Stalin used the military to forcibly relocate entire ethnic groups
Hitler systematically discredited independent journalism in an attempt to make sure he controlled the sole source of truth
Hitler used the democratic framework to destroy the democracy itself utilizing loopholes and pressuring enabling acts to give him total power to make laws.
