Finally got the control arms out of the van. The 10โ bolt on the driverโs side control arm spun out just fine. Second bolt turned into the dreaded bolt of doom. Seized tight in the center metal collar of the rubber bushing. Had to use a cutoff tool to chop apart the control arm and remove the rubber cushion so I could get some heat on the collar. What a fucked up design. The auto makers are making it so difficult to work on these vehicles that a person needs special tools to fix em. Iโm not sure why, but the guys at Quigley only used antiseize on one side. Dumb.
