Regarding Revs comments about socialism, the problem with that is there is never enough tax revenue for the socialists. All we expect our governments to do is to pave the roads, keep us safe and pick up the garbage. They should also craft tax and regulatory policy to allow businesses to thrive and protect consumers. It should not take more than half of every man, women’s sorry to pay those taxes. And taking more than half of their income in many cases towards taxes. Waste, fraud and mismanagement is not a cliché. It is real. So I will never advocate for more tax revenue from the citizenry. However, I also don’t expect they are gonna get a big handle on that waist, fraud and mismanagement diva. It appears that Trump and doge are trying to, but they’re dismissed and mocked at every turn. I understand a lot of people can’t stand Trump, largely because of his unpolished speaking style. But to pretend he hasn’t done many good things that were long overdue, like shutting down the border and recalibrating our NATO and trade relations, he’s just dumb. In two years he will be gone, and all these issues will remain. I don’t trust a Democrat for one minute to continue to do what is best for the beleaguered taxpayers in this country
