The road pretty much leads to socialism unfortunately. The stupid policies of the R and D uniparty lead us to a place where more wealth goes to corporations, which includes government and less to the people. When this generation gets older and still can't buy a house and there's no more American dream, they're going to vote for socialism and frankly nobody can blame them. Everyone is pulling the ladder up behind them. Saw it big time during covid. Sacrificed children to protect nursing homes, it's supposed to be the other way around. Seen it my whole life how social security isn't getting fixed because nobody wants to give up a dime to save it even if it means fucking their future generations. These boomers have it so tough buying their house for $40 that's now worth 750k you can't expect them to sacrifice anything..
