It starts in the home and st schools. Stop herding these kids to college unless they specifically know exactly why they need to go to college. These kids get out with no job, no life skills, a warped sense of reality for the world, and they are starting their adult life in huge debt to repay while not having a good job.
Meanwhile the person that either worked a job since high school is in such a better place. And the person who went to trade school is in a much better place. I can't imagine being 22 and having 50k in debt while working at Starbucks and paying rent and seeing housing prices, that person is fucked for life. Where were the parents when they were taking out these student loans?
