I'm no legal scholar so I will acknowledge I could be entirely wrong however... It was my understanding that CU was a proper ruling given that we as a people consider $$ free speech. That doesn't mean I like the ruling it just means that what we consider speech is questionable.
For me $$ ain't speech and we should limit both who can donate to politicians & the amount they can donate. Corporate free speech is just that, speech. Purchasing future favores from elected officals is not speech. It's bribary. Corporations are not people any more than you car is.
