I love an overperforming snow storm! Looks like many areas across Southcentral saw 4 to 10 inches of snow accumulation, with higher amounts through the pass and slightly lower amounts as you head north of Willow.
We'll see additional light snow showers today, more so into the evening hours.
While not an overly huge snow maker, this is the most single day snow that Anchorage has seen since October 31, 2024.
I'm rooting for 70+ inches of snow this season, let's see what we can do!

Latest update for our first major storm of the season has Anchorage now officially sitting at 8.7 inches of snowfall accumualtion.
While some light snow showers will still be possible into the evening hours, expect generally light accumulation. Sunshine and cooler weather returns this weekend.
