The courts got this wrong. Their job is to determine the intent of the amendments and its been made very clear, even by the dissensions, that that's not what happened. BUT, it needs correction now for sure.
And Roe vs, Wade came down to states rights. They overstepped by making policy for the states it had no right to make and causing fed tax dollars to be spent nationwide to support it. The states can now determine what they want to do...and they can also fund it.
