VAT. Right...we've all seen the benefits of paying down the Nat'l debt by ADDING more taxes! Anybody advocating for this can be culled right now.
NOW...it's easy to pretend that eliminating some of the government departments wont make any meaningful dent but, that's a lie configured and sold be those wanting more control, aka, big government. Take the EPA elimination idea for example. Sure, it's easy to find the budget cost for that bureaucratic hole and make it a line item but, what is much harder is the multiplier figures it ACTUALLY costs with it's power (That is being rightfully nipped now). Those costs run many more times the actual budget....by a factor level. Same with the rest. The Dept of Education is a perfect example of an government entity that was way past it's expiration date. They literally not only did nothing good but, in fact, proved to be a negative force in education in America.
Government, the fastest way for blow cash with ineptness even god couldn't dream up!
