We talked about getting a pontoon for our place down in Nova Scotia. I looked all over down there on the internet and couldn't find anything we liked. We drove to two places today with no luck and I called at least 8 others. The one said he had one that was sold ( pending financing) but no down payment and I asked if he would give them a call and see if they're going to finalize. He called me back and today was my lucky day. It's a 2021 19ft Legend Splash Cottage EXT. I upgraded to a 60hp Merc, mooring cover,new trailer and a few other goodies. I'm going to pick it up 1st or 2nd week in July hopefully in time for the border to be open down east

I'm not going to say Trump was perfect but China respected Trump as did most all world leaders. China rolled out red carpet for trump and brought him into some kind of special sacred land that no other president ever got to go to. A far cry from people literally laughing at the Biden spectacle. China also didn't roll up stair case for Obama to get off air force one. Trump wasn't perfect but I think he underestimated draining the swamp. One outsider guy cannot just change it all. These people's whole livelihoods revolve around being a swamp creature. Complete industries within our government. Our military/defense is bigger than most everybody can realize, we spend more on that than everything else combined. Russia gate is just one example of how they can fuck with you. When you have to defend yourself against a fake witch hunt which has multiple government agencies trying to frame you and have the media working overtime for you, including social media.. I don't think people understand what he was up against. The president isn't that power compared to the swamp. But yeah he could have done some things better but I don't see anyone else doing any better. Trump did the big tariff thing with China and brought them eating our lunch to light. Nobody else was even talking about these things. Trump at least single handedly brought these things to mainstream and did fight back against it. I think people discount how hard it is to defend yourself 24/7 against the entire media and politicians, and still try to get anything productive done at the same time.

Vermont crossed the threshold on Sunday when the state vaccinated 1,151 people, reaching a level of 80.2% of those over age 12. The goal was reached 464 days after the Republican governor declared the state of emergency on March 13, 2020. The state has now vaccinated 81.1% of the population over 18, exceeding President Biden’s goal of 70% of those 18 and older. “There is no doubt, each of us, every single Vermonter, has been through a lot over the last 15 months," Scott said. He added: “Our state has shown the world what’s possible when you have a group of people with the right attitude, following the data and trusting medical science." To accomplish the goal, the state sent vaccination teams across Vermont state parks, race courses, and any locations where people gathered to find more people who needed the vaccine. Reaching the 80% vaccination level of those over age 12 helps minimize the spread of the virus between people and throughout the community, Vermont Health Commissioner Dr. Mark Levine said at the news conference. As a result, there will be fewer hospitalizations and it will help prevent more loss of life from COVID-19. “’It also means less opportunity of mutations and more virulent strains from developing,” Levine said. Levine said it’s hoped that later this year, the vaccine will be approved for use in children under age 12. He said he was working with pediatricians to be ready to administer the vaccine to children when it becomes available. While the state restrictions have been lifted, federal restrictions, such as mask requirements in airports and other forms of public transportation remain. The legal state of emergency will be allowed to expire at midnight Tuesday when it would have been up for renewal. Vermont businesses will be allowed to require customers to wear masks, which Scott equated to the “no shirt, no shoes, no service” mandate used at many retail establishments. The end of the restrictions in Vermont come as the state has seen a steady decline in COVID-19 cases. On Monday, Vermont reported one new case of COVID-19. The state had one fatality in the last month.

I understand and have no problem with those that want the vaccine. It's their choice. I won't shit on them and hope that they respect my choice is all. I own a business and can honestly say that I've probably had only a handful of people that were unbelievably paranoid come into our place in the past year and a half.

Early season is the best with the completely unprepared guys and the new guys . the domestics after a hot day with long lines are almost better . I ride the bike to one of the local ramps at least 2 times a mo just to sit back and chill . One real close to my house has a nice little picnic table between the beach and the launch best of both worlds.
