Supreme Court shuts down police attempts to search homes without a warrant. By declining to endorse a broad interpretation of police power, the justices handed a victory to the driver, Arthur Lange, who is challenging his conviction of driving under the influence after the California highway patrol officer entered his garage without a warrant and performed a sobriety test. The court, in a 9-0 decision authored by liberal Justice Elena Kagan, sent the case back to the California Court of Appeals. The justices rejected the lower court's finding that warrants are not required in any situation in which police are in pursuit, even if the suspected crime is minor.

The point is recent as last year the flight existed but of course you can continue to believe that it did not. Routes are cancelled or changed all the time for many reasons see below. This particular route is difficult because of the sheer distance of it and the number of planes in fleets that can actually fly it non-stop. Also realize that the global pandemic has impacted commercial flights significantly. If there is no money to be made in a route it get's changed or cancelled. There is plenty of evidence out there that these flights did exist but understand why it works out better to believe otherwise. Oh, I agree 100% with the ruling. If a person can make it to their home...that is their safe harbor until warrant is issues. LE has no business deciding on some whim to enter any premises for non-felony/non-violent suspicions. They can pull up some curb and wait for a warrant which will be specific as to what they are allowed to do and what they are allowed. Otherwise, this is a violation of the 4th which is already under attack.
