Something simple. Eggs fried in butter on toasted, sprouted grain bread slathered with basil pesto/olive oil. Pickle on the side. Sliced tomato too.

Giant salad and frozen pizza. Frozen pizzas are pretty good these days.

Last nights dinner.  Walleye caught the night before, corn, fingerling potatoes and kale from the farm, lettuce from the hydroponic garden.

 

Was the last batch of non-squash fresh veg from the farm for the year.  Somewhat sad day.  Only things from inside now.  For those that don't like kale I highly recommend making it into chips like this.  Texture is great and tastes good as well.

Tonight is Karen and my anniversary of 37 years of marriage so I cut her a few steaks slapped them on the grill and they had to have been the best Ribeye I have ever had hands down. Hat's off to cattleman 212. Now I know why the top supper clubs in the state insist on this brand of meat.

A slightly overcooked prime NY Strip.  Was doing too much at once, but it was still great.

Had enough peaches for half a pie, so half blueberry went on the other side.  Didn't suck that I had to have one of each.

Homemade bluecheese is a family favorite.  So easy and the shit you get in a bottle is god awful.
