Both sides suck massive dick when it comes to dealing with immigrants once they are here. Until that is fixed what happens at the border is almost irrelevant. Obviously working on both sides is important, but the most critical is what happens after as that will be the biggest deterrent to those coming illegally in the first place. Right now potential illegals laugh at what could happen and that has to be fixed. Trump showed he sucked at that, Biden shows he sucks period. I was describing legitimate employment. Farms that pick vegetables with hand labor cannot have someone come in and deport their whole work force. I also wouldn't support one that did it illegally. These are legal H-2A workers we were discussing. The US has made that very hard which of course is going to have others start to look for how to do whatever they need either way. Americans have become lazy and entitled sadly.

Thanks to how things are at the border they are basically impossible to hire now. They cost around $30/hr here and getting them up for the season is near impossible. My local CSA had to stop their weekly shares because they can't get enough help. They've had some of the same H-2A workers for more than 20 years, but thanks to the current last two administrations they can't get here. Even more sad is that locals won't even show up for $30/hr.

You should visit a kitchen in a restaurant once. No Mexicans = no restaurants.
