ironically I'll be headed to meth county Illinois this weekend. My grams died yesterday at the age of 104. She was probably the hardest working person I have ever known. I dont think I have ever seen her sit idle in my whole life. About 20 years ago she started writing (and published) these stories about her life growing up on a farm in southern Indiana. This literally happened to me and my wife pre covid. We were at dinner at an upscale place and it must have been prom night or something. I table of 10 or 12 kids looking exactly like this.
