Punta Gorda fared very well considering they took a direct hit. Yeah sure, lots of trees down, lots roof shingles blown away & many screened in porches are now open air porches. But this afternoon , my dad and I drove around for 2 hours taking in the sights and other than the local trailer park, they got F'ed hard, we didn't see any homes that weren't still inhabitable. Didn't see any signs of heavy flooding either. There are only a few streets that have flooded low sections. My father lost his screened in porch thing and a few shingles as well as an outdoor light. But no windows broke, no structural damage of any sort. Same with his neighbors.

Big Snow Resort 15h · Today, Snowriver management and ownership met with representatives from the Township of Wakefield and Town of Bessmer along with the GRTA President Steve Hamilton and the Michigan DNR, to discuss the Route 2 snowmobile trail. The meeting was very productive and alternatives were discussed. One such option has a reroute through the Snowriver property alleviates traversing the parking lot and the lodging area, would then join back up with the trail system. We appreciate all the representatives and the GRTA for meeting today. The discussions will continue towards a solution for this winter and we are very optimistic based on todays meeting, that a happy conclusion will be found

Think your going to see a priority on new sleds to be updated -vs- used sleds. I've got well over 30k miles on the effected sleds without an issue. I'll still have a 2022 XCR with a 23 VR1 on order and I have no problem riding the 2022 before it's upgraded.
