Countries where people wear masks have hospitalization and death rates better than ours so doing something so simple to help the issue isn't unreasonable. Hospitalization and death rates are all that really matters given disparity of testing and ours are not out of control across the country but if we can help that by something as simple as a mask then we should.

I’ve had moderate to severe asthma for my whole life. I take meds daily and have a rescue inhaler in my truck. Wearing a mask has absolutely ZERO effect on my lungs. ZERO. I have had to wear a mask or respirator thousands of times in my career with ZERO negative effect. In fact during cold winter weather a face covering/mask actually improves my lung function.

Dude, people wearing masks and staying the fuck away from each other keeps the virus out of your eyes. It's so simple, wear a mask when you are around other people and keep your distance and the virus isn't spread as easy, or we can let the virus get out of control again causing the government to shut things down again. Seriously, I don't like wearing the damn mask but I understand that by wearing one and I happen to have the virus I'm less likely to spread it to others. Don't forget they still believe that the virus can be spread before a person shows symptoms. I'm not talking about the cloth home made masks either. Plain old 3m 8210 dust masks do a great job, are N95 and they are dirt cheap. Most of us probably have them in our shops. I have a heart condition that makes me high risk if I get Covid. I try my best to stay a safe distance from other people but for some reason the people that don't give a shit about the people around them won't stay away and don't wear a mask.
