Your chart doesn’t have percentages but it appears France produced 90% (guessing) electrical needs with non global traded commodities . I don’t think France has much of any fossil fuels production we have an opportunity in North America to figure out where we don’t need to rely on a global traded commodity for our livelihood.

It won't help Ukraine at all. There are lots of countries lined up to buy Vlad's oil. China and Turkey to name a few. They will buy at somewhat of a discount but when oil is $120+ does it really matter? Not buy a few barrels of Russian oil isn't going to slow down Putin in Ukraine. Once he has control of Ukraine and develops all the oil fields, Europe will be totally dependent on his oil and gas. At the end of the day, the low and middle classes are getting hammered with inflated prices on oil, commodities, food, housing, and transportation.
